IOWA CITY — Another Top-25 contest awaits Iowa today, as the No. 17 Hawkeyes entertain 10th-ranked Michigan.
Tip is set for 1:05 p.m. inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
Iowa (17-6 overall, 6-4 in Big Ten) will be trying to rebound from a 76-69 home loss to Ohio State earlier this week.
Roy Devyn Marble leads the Hawks at 16 points per game, while Aaron White is the leading rebounder at 6.5. White is also averaging 13 points.
For Michigan, Nik Stauskas averages 17.3 points and nearly four assists a night, while Jon Horford is the leading rebounder at 4.5.
The Wolverines (17-5, 9-1) will be trying to complete a season sweep of Iowa, as they won in Ann Arbor earlier this year, 75-67. That loss snapped a three-game win streak for the Hawks.
Michigan is currently tied atop the league standings with Michigan State at 9-1, The Wolverines defeated the Spartans, 80-75 last month and are 11-1 in their last 12.
All six of Iowa’s losses this season have come at the hands of teams ranked in the Top-25, including two in overtime. Three of the last four Iowa-Michigan games here have gone to overtime, with the Hawks winning two of them.
Iowa hasn’t won at home since January 19 when they defeated Minnesota, 94-73.
