MILFORD - Four Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire wrestlers earned the right to advance to district competition due to their success at the Class 1A Sectional meet in Milford on Saturday.
Emmetsburg finished the day with seen district qualifiers and won the sectional with 206 points. Host Okoboji was second with 161 points followed by GT/RA with 151.5 points.
"This was not our best effort from a team standpoint as I thought we wrestled a little sloppy all day," said GT/RA coach Cody Alesch. "We did have a couple times where the kids battled through some adversity in a match as well. We just struggled with position in some matches and it cost us a few important matches."
