Maurice Larson

As a child he attended Emmet Consolidated Schools were he met and married the love of his life Perl Elaine Weir on April 26, 1947, in Estherville. Together they resided and farmed north of Estherville and east of Terril until moving in 1956 to their permanent home in Ellsworth Township, Estherville.

He was an active member of the Presbyterian Church. Maurice enjoyed working with his hands, tilling the soil and took pride in watching seed grow. In his free time you could find him tinkering in his shop, fixing equipment, doing woodworking projects or on occasion with a fishing pole in his hand. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. There was never a person he couldn't laugh and visit with.
