YORK, Neb. - Tyler Owen Grotz, 21, of York, Neb., passed away July 3, 2012 at the family farm due to a farm related accident.
Tyler was born in Henderson, Neb. on Jan. 28, 1991, the second child of Duane and Brenda (Forsberg) Grotz.
Tyler is survived by his parents, Duane and Brenda, one brother, Darren and sister-in-law Cara, and two sisters, Brianna and Tonya all of York; grandparents, Albert & Doris Grotz of York and Bernice (Pete) Kracht of Rock Rapids; aunts and uncles: Lorna (Garland) Snow of Kearney, Neb., Carol (Mike) Austin of Draper, Utah, Delton (Renee) Grotz of York, Anita Forsberg of Boyden, Leroy (Jenette) Forsberg of Estherville, Mary (Chris) Craven of Rochester, Minn., Loren (Karen) Forsberg of Dunnell, Minn., several cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Melvin Forsberg, and one aunt, Nileta Forsberg.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 7, 2012 at the York City Auditorium in York. Interment will be in York's Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m., Saturday prior to the services at the auditorium. Memorials, which will be designated later, may be directed to the family at Cornerstone Bank, York, Neb.
