Spirit Lake's second place finish in the Lakes Conference led to eight players receiving all-conference honors. The Indians were 10-4 in league play.
Selected to the first team were Nic Amundson, Casey Jones and Brandon Stoll.
Amundson, a junior catcher, averaged .324 in league play with six RBIs and 12 hits including two doubles and a home run.
Jones, a senior outfielder, averaged .541 in league play with 12 hits including four doubles, two triples and 10 RBIs.
Stoll, a junior selected as a utility player, batted .454 in league play with 14 hits including six doubles, two home runs and 21 RBIs. On the mound, Stoll posted a 4-1 record. He pitched 37 1/3 innings, struck out 47 batters, walked 13, hit eight and finished with a 2.06 earned run average.
Selected to the second team were Paul Brown, Cody Poock and Andrew Ites.
Brown posted a 6-1 record in league play. In 46 1/3 innings, he struck out 45 batters, walked 10 and hit four. He finished with a 1.36 ERA.
Poock, a junior outfielder, averaged .324 in league play with 12 hits including one double and 11 RBIs.
Ites, a junior outfielder, averaged .325 with 13 hits including three doubles and seven RBIs.
Earning honorable mention were senor infielder Tate Hanson and senior outfielder Zack Herrig.
Hanson averaged .188 with six hits and seven RBIs. But he also had a league high 14 walks as he upped his on-base percentage to .469
Herrig batted .158 with six hits, a double and four RBIs.
