Iowa Lakes men’s soccer beats NIACC

September 5, 2012
Estherville Daily News

SPENCER - The Iowa Lakes Community College men's soccer team performed well for most of the game and came away with a big conference win yesterday.

"We played better today but still not the level we are capable of," said Iowa Lakes coach Ammon Bennett. "We still have to improve our communication and overall team play as this happens we will become an even better group.

"We played pretty well for most of the game but we got a little relaxed when we went up 4-0 so the game ended a bit lackluster in my opinion but winning is always a good thing."

Tanner Collins got his first start of the year giving up just the one goal while Lewis Robson, Ryan Murray, while Rodrigo Arechega had a pair of goals.

Iowa Lakes Community College next plays on Friday and Saturday at Iowa Western Community College against IWCC and Barton Community College from Kansas.
