The Estherville Lincoln Central Board of Education will hold its monthly meeting 5:15 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17 at the ELC High School library.
The board will have final reading for the second set of 200 Series board policies and adjourn the retiring board before holding the organizational meeting of the new board. As the new board convenes, its first order of business will be electing the board president and vice-president.
The board will also act on the consent agenda which includes hires, transfers and resignations.
The board will hear season highlights from state softball team members and then administrative reports from Justin Bouse, elementary; Deb Lenertz, middle school and curriculum; Frank Christenson, high school and Brad Leonard, athletics and activities. The board will also hear the Regional Wellness Center, technology and superintendent's reports.
Under new business, the board will act on approval of salary lane advancements which are for staff that have taken approved additional coursework to move on the salary schedule. The board will act on approval of a petition to the School Budget Review Committee for allowable growth for special education.
The board will have first reading of the third set of 200 Series board policies as well as a review of board policy 507.6 requiring that students carry insurance in order to participate in athletics.
The board will also act on accepting a snow removal bid from ABC Services for $2,300 a push for all district properties, excluding the Roosevelt building. ABC was also the contractor for last year.
