HULL - Four turnovers didn't help North Union on the long road trip to Hull on Friday.
Host Western Christian took advantage of those in the 45-9 win over the Warriors.
The Wolfpack jumped out to a 17-0 lead in the first quarter and added two more touchdowns in the second.
North Union's only points came when Jacob Govern and Ty Anderson made a tackle in the Wolfpack end zone for a safety. That made the score 31-2 at the break.
Western Christian scored one touchdown in the second quarter to start a running clock.
North Union scored its lone touchdown in the final period when Anderson scored on a 2-yard run. Jannis Lesko added the extra point.
Quarterback Jacob Braddock led the Warriors running attack with 115 yards on 12 carries. Cody Runksmeier was the only other player with positive yards on he ground as he carried the ball 10 times for 41 yards.
However Braddock was 4-of-10 passing for 84 yards and three interceptions. Garret Johnson caught one pass for 54 yards and Runksmeier caught two for 30 yards.
Western Christian had 133 yards on the ground.
The Wolfpack was 11-of-19 passing for 148 yards with one interception.
Johnson came up with that interception. He also led the defense with 11 tackles. Anderson had eight tackles while Runksmeier had seven tackles.
North Union (1-3 overall, 0-2 in the district) is home next Friday against Gehlen Catholic.
