Forty-seven youth from grades 4-12 participated in the event Sunday. The Emmet County youth gained experience throughout seven stations including: archery, muzzleloader, .22 rifle range, trapshooting, crossbow, varmint/high-power rifle shooting and a trapping demonstration.

Trophies were awarded to Seth Vaske, archery; Cole Anderson, crossbow; Chase Bonner, .22 rifle; Lucas Gardner, high-power rifle; Cole Budach, trapshooting and Michael Houseman, muzzleloader.

A free lunch and prize drawing concluded the event.

Thank you to all the youth for participating, and a big thank you to the wonderful volunteers and sponsors who continue to help make the event a huge success.
