The Estherville Lincoln Central eighth-grade football team lost 40-6 to Okoboji on Tuesday.
Trevor Shryock scored ELC's lone touchdown, a 34-yard run in the second quarter. ELC trailed 26-6 at half-time. Defensively Robert Sheridan and Isaac Jorgenson each had five tackles. Nathan Krug had an interception and Alex Kautz had a fumble recovery.
ELC plays next Tuesday at Spencer.
