ARMSTRONG - The Armstrong City Council will meet 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12 at City Hall in Armstrong.
The council will hold a public hearing on a proposal to enter into an agreement for private development between the City of Armstrong and Casey's Marketing Company. The city and Casey's will be sharing the costs for storm sewer development in the area of the new Casey's.
The council will also consider a proposed amendment to the Valley Vue Urban Renewal Plan and a proposed ordinance amending ordinance 2008-1 providing that general property taxes be levied and collected on all property located within the urban renewal area.
Tom Leach will present the maintenance report and Craig Merrill will present the police report. The council will also set garbage truck bids and containers for the Dec. 3 meeting.
In new business, the council will act on resolution 2012-8 requesting the assistance of the Northwest Iowa Planning and Development Commission to update the subdivision regulations.
The council will also consider a bid from Maguire Iron to repair the water tower and also meet with Larry Howell regarding Art's-Way property.
