The Estherville City Council will meet at 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 19 in the council chambers at city hall.
Council will consider adopting an ordinance amending electric rates. Council approved the first reading of a rate increase on Monday, Nov. 5, but didn't have enough members present to fully adopt the increases.
Council will be asked to review options regarding disposal of property recently awarded to the City.
Council will consider adopting a Community Development & Housing Needs Assessment and then hold a public hearing on submitting a Housing Fund Grant application. Following the public hearing, Council will consider a resolution authorizing application, committing local match and designated authorized signers.
Council will consider an application from Steven & Joleen Planting requesting a partial property tax exemption as defined in the City's Urban Revitalization Plan.
Council will be presented with a summary of offers to buy excess city property described as Lot 14, Block 2, Dow's Addition and Lot 2, Block 6 of Ellsworth's Addition.

Council will be asked to approve a sign permit application submitted by Excel Plumbing & Heating for property located at 620 South 12th Street.
Council will be asked to approve a sign permit application submitted by M.E.'s Body Shop for property located at 2209 Murray Road.
The council will adjourn into closed session to consider the acquisition of property as permitted in Section 21.5(1)j of the Code of Iowa.
