The Emmet County Board of Supervisors Tuesday reviewed the fiscal 2012 Emmet County mental health report.

Dorothy Christensen, county mental health coordinator, noted that the report is a state requirement and must be forwarded to the Iowa Department of Human Services.

Christensen called the board's attention to various sections of the report.

In other business, the board approved two construction plans - One on County N24 spanning School Creek west of Estherville and the other on County N60 northwest of Armstrong.

In the road report, Roger Patocka, county engineer, said crews had been ditch cleaning and building driveways and field entrances. He said Union Pacific Railroad officials had indicated plans are in the works to repair several rail intersections in the county.

The board also received insurance renewal proposals from Nancy Danielson and Al Blum of Blum & Leonard and Clarence Hoffman of the Iowa Communities Assurance Pool.
