ESTHERVILLE - Funeral services for Dale G. Juhl, 76, of Estherville will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at First Presbyterian Church in Estherville with Rev. Chad Ensz and Rev. Kennen Barber-Ensz officiating. Visitation will be 4:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
He died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at Avera Holy Family Health in Estherville.
Dale Gordon Juhl, the son of Clarence and Virginia (Murley) Juhl, was born May 21, 1936, in rural Estherville.

He received his education and graduated from Estherville High School in 1953. He attended college in Estherville and Mankato. Dale served for two years in the United States Army.
On Oct. 31, 1981, he was united in marriage to Beverly Hansen Kaltved. The couple resided in Estherville and Dale worked 28 years as a postal carrier and retired in October of 1992. Dale and Bev enjoyed fishing trips to Minnesota with family and friends. They also enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and visiting national parks. His favorite times were spending time with his children and grandchildren and following the Boston Red Sox and Iowa Hawkeyes. Dale also enjoyed bowling for many years.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a past member of the Elks Lodge in Estherville.
Left to cherish Dale's memory are his wife, Bev, of Estherville; children, Mary (Rick) Welch of Fayetteville, Ark., Phyllis (Mike) Martens of Estherville, Steve (Lora) Juhl of Iowa Falls and Scott (Nicole) Juhl of Sioux Falls, S.D.; step-children, Jeff (Susan) Kaltved of Carroll, Kristy (Joel) Vos and Wade Kaltved, all of Spirit Lake; grandchildren, Leah Keene (Brent) and Molly Martens, Morgan and Gordon Welch, and Emma, Madalyn, Grace and Lauren Juhl; Brayden, Bennett and Brynlee Juhl; Hannah and Justin Kaltved; Jacob and Mackenzie Vos; brother, Arvin Juhl of Estherville and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He has been preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dennis Juhl and sisters-in-law, Shirley Juhl and Jane Juhl.
