AYRSHIRE - Funeral services for Augustine Hessenius, 93, of Spencer and formerly of Emmetsburg and Curlew, will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan., 8, 2013, at Zion Lutheran Church in Ayrshire. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Monday at the Martin-Mattice Funeral Home in Emmestburg. Inurnment will be at Washington Cemetery in Havelock.
She died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer.
Augustine is survived by her children, Manfred (Sharon) Hobmeier of Kiel, Wis., Ingrid (Dale) Studer of West Bend, Harry (Mary) Hobmeier of Estherville, Frank Hobmeier of Cherokee, Richard (Martie) Hobmeier of Des Moines and Kenneth (Cheryl) Hessenius of Spencer; 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
