Estherville Lincoln Central stayed with visiting Jackson County Central for quite a while, but the Huskies pulled away in the fourth quarter to win 79-63 on Monday.
The Midgets opened up the first quarter shooting well from the outside.
Matt Burrell opened the Midgets scoring with a 3-pointer, which was followed by one from Adam Reiter as ELC trailed 9-7.

Three-pointers from Joe Heinrichs and Evan Hansen gave ELC its only lead of the game at 15-13, but the Huskies scored the final six points of the period to lead 191-5.
The Midgets stayed even with the visitors through the first part of the second quarter with Brad Olsen tying the game at 21-21 and moments later at 23-23.
Two free throws by Tyler Swanson tied the game at 25-25 and that was as close as ELC would get.
The Huskies went on a 10-1 run before Reiter hit his second 3-pointer of the night, but the Midgets trailed 36-29 at the break.
In the third quarter, ELC again kept close, but need three consecutive 3-pointers from Hansen to cut the deficit to five, 49-44. However ELC trailed 53-47 to start the final break.
Hansen's final 3-pointer early in the fourth quarter kept ELC within six, 58-52, but the Huskies were too much.
ELC still was within single digits when David Hughes hit a free throw at 66-57. But the visitors' spread the floor and went on a 13-0 run to put the game away.
Hansen finished with 17 points to lead the Midgets. Hughes and Burrell each had eight points while Swanson and Reiter each had six, Jeff Perkins and Brad Olsen each had five, Tucker Milburn had four, Heinrichs had three and Noah Diekmann had one.
ELC finished with nine 3-pointers in the game, but were just 8-for-19 from the free throw line.
Jackson County Central had five players in double figures led by an 18-point, nine-rebound effort from Jon Harmening. Nolan Hohenstein finished with 14, Darnell Taylor-Breck had 13, Austin Hinkelday had 12 and Taylor Christopher had 11.
ELC (4-8 overall) is on the road against Newell-Fonda (7-2) on Thursday. The Midgets travel to Hull to take on Western Christian on Friday.
