ARMSTRONG - After staying with Class 2A No. 10 Manson-Northwest Webster for a half, the North Union girls couldn't keep up the pace as the Cougars won 53-37 on Thursday.
North Union coach Merle Tigges said the Warriors struggled with 25 turnovers.
"We fumbled the ball and just didn't pass very well," he said.
The Warriors trailed 10-5 after one quarter and 20-19 at the break.
Sara Rolling led North Union with 11 points.
North Union (9-4 overall) is on the road against Granada-Huntley-East Chain on Tuesday.
