GARNER - Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire split its double dual against Manson-Northwest Webster and Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on Tuesday.
With the Titans vacant in six weights and G-H/V also short at several weights, the dual between the two teams featured three contested matches.
GTRA won two of them in the 42-24 victory. Austin Thompson (126) pinned A.J. Arnold in 1:12 and Cody Thompson (285) pinned Brady Baker in 2:56.
Sam George (120), Ty Gibson (138), Justin Rodriguez (145), Tyler Hoffman (152) and Hunter Brown (160) all received forfeits.
GTRA's Kyle Long (195) lost by fall in 5:56 to Connor Smith.
The Titans forfeited at 132, 182, and 202. There were double forfeits at 106, 113 and 170 pounds.
Against Manson-Northwest Webster, the Titans won three of the eight contested matches in the 65-18 loss.
Austin Thompson (126) pinned Eric Wedemeyer in 52 seconds. Matt McGrauth (152) pined John Calmer in 3:29 and Cody Thompson (285) pinned Phil Dorage in 3:10.
In other matches, Sam George (120) lost by fall in 48 seconds to Harley Janssen; Gibson (138) lost by technical fall to Payton Rice. Tyler Hoffman (145) lost by fall in 1:54 to Connor Alne; Brown (160) lost by fall to Lucas Dolder in 1 minute. Longlost by fall in 3:37 to Tanner Peterson.
GTRA forfeited at 106, 113, 132, 170, 182 and 220.
The Titans don't have any scheduled event until the Saturday, Feb. 2 Class 1A Sectional meet in Manson.
