FORT DODGE - The Iowa Lakes women battled toe-to-toe with Iowa Central in the first half, but the Tritons opened the second half with a 17-4 run and ended the game on a 10-2 run for the 58-38 victory.
Iowa Lakes Carla Barrera was 4-of-5 from three-point range in the first half, including one to tie the game at 24-24 at the halftime buzzer.
Barrera ended the night with 14 points while Myangel Johnson had 10, Shabreka Edwards had six, Ashleigh Dykes and Sunday Duop each had four.
Iowa Lakes (8-21 overall, 4-11 in the conference) ends the regular season at home on Saturday with a 1 p.m. game against Southeastern.
