The Estherville Lincoln Central Board of Education will hold a public hearing on the 2013-14 published budget 5:10 p.m. Monday at the high-school library.
In the regular meeting that will follow, the board will hear from Laura Condon, high-school math teacher, and Kris Turner, high-school science teacher, who report on a workshop, Bacon Wrapped Lessons, they recently attended.
The board will hear administrative, Regional Wellness Center, technology and the superintendent's reports and hold third and final reading for the first set of 300 series policies.
Under new business, the board will look at several school calendar options to fulfill the current professional development and 36 hours of collaborative time mandates.
The board will also discuss possible refinancing of its current general obligation bond financing for the middle-school building and Demoney remodeling.
The board will act on an open campus plan for juniors and seniors for next school year.
The board will also hold first reading of the second set of 300 series policies.
The April board meeting will be held at 5:15 p.m. Monday, April 15 at the high-school library.
