The Armstrong-Ringsted Education Association presented an initial contract proposal to the Armstrong-Ringsted Board of Education Wednesday calling for a base salary of $31,853. That compares with $30,997 currently.
The proposal includes six lanes and 16 steps with a 3 percent increase between lanes and steps.
The employer contribution to health insurance would increase by $40, from $549 to $589.
The district will present its proposal at a later time.
