The Estherville Lincoln Central girls tennis players showed improvement, but Spirit Lake/Okoboji was still too much as the Midgets lost 8-1 on Monday.

"I thought the girls played well tonight and it was definitely an improvement from the last two meets," said ELC coach Larry Kirchner.

The Midgets' one win came at the No. 6 singles as Emily Jorgenson defeated Rebecca Owens 10-1.
