ARMSTRONG - The North Union boys' track team finished fourth at the John Larsen Relays at home on Thursday.
The Warriors finished with 69 points. Garner-Hayfield/Ventura won with 147 points while Bishop Garrigan finished with 120 points, North Iowa had 90. Northwood-Kensett finished fifth with 52 points, West Bend-Mallard had 41 and Corwith-Wesley-Luverne had 37.
North Union had no top finishes. Brian Becker finished second in the 3200-meter run in 10 minutes, 56.29 seconds.
Aric Runge took second in the 400-meter hurdles. Also second was the distance medley team of Joey Stauffer, Braden Ortman, Jacob Adams and Matt Adams, who finished in 3:56.11. The 4x400-meter relay team of Matt Adams, Stauffer, Runge and Jacob Adams took second in 3:43.88.
Runge finished third in the 110-meter high hurdles in 16.47 seconds.
Becker finished fourth in the 1600-meter run in 5:00.41 while Matt Adams placed fifth in 5:02.14.
Marshall Klingenberg took fourth in the shot put with a throw of 40 feet, 4 3/4 inches while Jacob Braddock placed sixth at 38 feet, 5 inches.
Runge took fourth in the high jump with a leap of 5 feet, 6 inches while Dyson Umscheid placed fourth in the discus at 100 feet, 2 inches. Jacob Adams took fourth in the 400-meter dash in 55.59 seconds.
The 4x800-meter relay team of Stauffer, Lucas Hardman, Shaun Cook and Josh Braddock took fifth in 10:32.06.
Placing sixth was the shuttle hurdle relay team of Hardman, Chandler Meyer, Cory Tigges and Wyatt Runksmeier in 1:19.26. Also sixth was the 4x100-meter relay team of Jacob Braddock, Ortman, Ty Anderson and Klingenberg in 50:06 seconds.
