Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire did its part to win the Cornbelt Conference Boys Golf Tournament on Monday.
Entering the tournament, North Union, GTRA and Corwith-Wesley-Luverne were tied for first place.
The Warriors' Sawyer Doocy stepped up with nine-hole rounds of 41 and 37 to earn tournament medalist honors with a 78. Also CWL's Andy Hauswirth shot an 82 to earn runner-up medalist honors.
But the Titans had four balanced scores to come out with a victory by shooting a 353. North Union finished 14 strokes back with a 367 and CWL placed third with a 368.
Blaze Alesch led the way with an 84 while Jake Wegner shot an 88, Ethan Petersen shot an 89 and Kyle Dalen had a 92. Non-counting scores were a 97 by Tanner Naig and a 107 from Andrew Aeilts.
"I was very pleased with the results today, obviously, and the depth that we have really showed," said GTRA coach John Fulton. "We are going to look to improve overall before our first round of regionals at Spring Valley Golf Course on May 10."
Rounding out the scores for North Union were a 95 by Alex Krantz, a 96 from Alex Deitering and a 98 from Clyve Jensen.
Non-counting scores were a 113 from Colton Nicoson and a 119 by Mike Mather.
In other team scoring, Harris-Lake Park finished fourth with 393 followed by West Bend-Mallard with 420 and Clay Central-Everly with 463.
First and second team all-conference teams will be announced later this week.
