HULL - The Estherville Lincoln Central Boys Golf Team played well for its second straight meet at a Lakes Conference double dual in Hull on Friday.

While Emmetsburg, one of the teams to beat in the conference, shot the low score of 162, the Midgets edged Western Christian 174 to 175.

"I'm just pleased," said ELC coach Dave Van Roekel. "The guys are getting better and our poor holes are becoming less frequent. Also beating Hull on their home course is an accomplishment."
