Class 2A top-ranked North Union had little trouble in a pair of victories against Corwith Wesley-Luverne on Monday, winning 18-0 and 14-0, both lasting just three innings.
Allie Ingalls pitched both games. In the first, she struck out eight of the nine she faced. In the second game, she faced 10 batters, striking out four and giving up one hit.
North Union pounded out 15 hits in the first game. Cheyanne Boland was 3-4 with three doubles and four RBIs. Ingalls was 2-4 with a triple and an RBI. Autumn Boland was 2-3 with a double and three RBIs. Dena Looft was 2-2 with a double and three RBIs. Sara Johnson was 2-3 with two RBIs. Peyton Oleson was 2-3 with three RBIs.
Also, Sarah Rolling was 1-2 and Kyarsten Mullen was 1-1 with an RBI.
North Union had 13 hits in the second contest. Ingalls was 3-4 with a double, a triple and an RBI. Cheyanne Boland was 3-3 with a double and three RBIs. Oleson was 2-2 with two RBIs. Johnson was 1-1 with two RBIs. Rolling was 1-2 with two RBIs. Looft was 1-1 with an RBI. Collete Haag was 1-2 with an RBI and Autumn Boland was 1-3 with an RBI.
