SWEA CITY - Class 2A No. 1 North Union is one game away from returning to the state tournament after a 10-0, five inning victory over West Hancock on Friday.
The Warriors were one error from a perfect game as pitcher Allie Ingalls pitched a no-hitter and faced just 16 Eagle batters. She finished with six strikeouts.
As the visiting team, the Warriors scored a run in the first inning to immediately take the lead. They added three in the second, one in the third and five in the fourth.

North Union pounded out 12 hits-all singles.
Sara Johnson was 2-3 scored three times and had an RBI; Jasmine Clausen was 2-3 with a run and an RBI. Peyton Oleson was 1-2 with a run and two RBIs; Cheyanne Boland was 2-4 with an RBI; Autumn Boland was 2-4 with a run; Ingalls was 1-4 with two RBI; Sarah Rolling was 1-4 with a run and an RBI and Dena Looft had and RBI.
Kyarsten Mullen, courtesy running for catcher Cheyanne Boland, scored twice while pinch runner Lexy Valvick ran for Looft and scored one run.
West Hancock (15-11) committed four errors in the contest.
North Union (32-2) will play Ridge View (28-11) in Monday's Region 2 final at Pocahontas. Ridge View opened tournament play with an 8-2 win over Manson-Northwest Webster and defeated Alta-Aurelia 8-0 on Friday.
