Emmet County is looking at a 5 percent increase in health insurance coverage, which includes just over a 3 percent increase in the trust and the remainder in the self-funded portion.
Frank Johnson of Secure Benefits Systems told the Emmet County Board of Supervisors Tuesday it will have a 3.06 percent increase in the IGHCP trust. The county will have a 5 percent increase to put money into its partially self-funded plan.
In other business, the board discussed but made no decision on a budget director position.
The board approved certification of 2014 North Union School special election expenses.
Also approved was certification of the cost allocation plan for the county. Cost Administration Services Inc. documented $26,856 in reimbursable costs from the Iowa Department of Human Services and $8,946 from targeted case management for fiscal 2013. The fee to Cost Administration Services for determining the reimbursement is $3,950.
