ESTHERVILLE - Funeral services for Dwaine Grover Crees, 58, of Fairfield will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2014 at Henry-Olson Funeral Home in Estherville with Rev. Clair Odell officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home. Interment will be at East Side Cemetery in Estherville.
He died Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in Fairfield.
Dwaine was born Jan. 25, 1956 in Estherville to Lawrence and Geraldine (Steele) Crees. He married Karen Odell Sept. 6, 1977 at Christ United Methodist Church in Davenport.
He has lived in the Fairfield area since 1982. Dwaine worked at Falco as a molder and Hickenbottoms Inc. as a janitor. He loved to go fishing, hunting, play poker and metal detecting. He loved spending time with his family and friends and especially his grandkids.
Dwaine is survived by Karen Crees of Davenport; two children, Jeremy (Jennifer) Crees of Manitowoc, Wis. and Angie (John) Pacha of Marion; seven grandchildren, Drew, Chase and Cole Crees, Caleb, Clara, Blaise and Cooper Pacha; and two siblings, Larry (Lynette) Crees of Estherville and Teri McCubbins of Emmetsburg.
