The Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire girls golfers were on the course against Cornbelt Conference rivals West Bend-Mallard and Harris-Lake Park and won easily on Monday with a 210. WB-M finished with a 226 and H-LP was a player short for having a team score.
The Titans' Kelley Harris took medalist honors while H-LP's Macy Gunderson was runnerup with a 49.
For GT/RA, Caroline Koekenhoff shot a 51, Lauren Flaharty a 52 and the Titans had a choice of 59s from Sara Harris, Carrie Hoffman and Emma Feldhacker.
"It wasn't the greatest day for golf with the mist coming down for over half of the meet, but the girls really concentrated and put together a pretty good round despite the conditions," said GT/RA coach John Fulton. "WBM and HLP were the two toughest teams in our conference all year and it was good to get a win head to head. Kelley played really well taking medalist honors and it has been a really good year for her."
