UDMO staff give thanks to community

January 27, 2016
Estherville News

Dear Editor,

The Upper Des Moines Emmet Outreach Staff would like to thank all the churches, businesses, organizations, schools, and individuals that supported us throughout 2015. There are so many of you and we want you to know how much we appreciate all you have done for the Outreach. Without your help and generosity, many of our programs would not exist.

The donations for our Back-to-School Program helped many county parents get their children ready for school with new school supplies.

The support of the Community Christmas Program was outstanding. All of our families were so thankful for the gifts they received. We appreciate the time and effort spent on this project.

The shelves in the food pantry were getting extremely low. Hundreds of pounds of food and personal items were donated over the holidays. We thank everyone who so generously donated to the Outreach Office!

We do indeed live in a very caring and giving county. Thank you again for your generous donations and support this past year. With your continued support, we will give our at-risk families the encouragement that they need to empower them to self-sufficiency.

If you have any questions or concerns about Outreach, please feel free to give us a call or visit us at the Outreach office.

Cinda Joynt-Turner, Center Director

Lee Ann Dietrich, Program Assistant
