A Celebration of Life for Bradley Ellis Ayers, 58, of Estherville will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017, at the Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville with Pastor Doug Burton officiating. Interment will be held at East Side Cemetery, Estherville with military honors by VFW Post #3388 of Estherville. On Aug. 10, 2017, Brad passed away at this home in Estherville at the age of 58 years.

Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Bradley Ellis Ayers, son of Raymon and Eileen (Pederson) Ayers, was born on March 20, 1959 in Estherville. He graduated from Estherville High School in 1977. He then joined the United States Air Force. He was stationed in Colorado and Japan. Upon his honorable discharge he returned to the Estherville Area, and began working at Spencer Pack. On Feb. 21, 1981, he was united in marriage to Marjorie Petersen in Worthington, Minn. The couple had one daughter Jennifer. This marriage was later dissolved. Throughout the years, he worked at various packing plants around the Northern Iowa and Southern Minnesota area. In January of 2014, he returned to Estherville and was employed with Estherville Foods.

Brad enjoyed watching football and history shows. He also liked playing computer games; especially Mafia Wars. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family. Brad could always be counted on to help babysit his nieces and nephews, and more recently his grandchildren.

Brad is survived by his daughter Jennifer (Adam Larsen) Ayers and his grandchildren Aedan Larsen and Gabrielle Larsen all of Adrian, Minn. He is also survived by his siblings Phyllis Manley of Armstrong, Linda (Ken) Bute of Alpha, and Richard (Diane) Ayers of Emmetsburg; his sister-in-law Jolene Ayers of Estherville; and an uncle Earl Jolstad and numerous nieces and nephews.

Brad is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings: Floyd Ayers, Arthur Ayers, Sr, and Wayne Ayers.
