ELC kept fighting in the final period, finally tying the game at 63-63 on two free throws by Jadynn Moore. The game was tied against at 65-65, and 67-67 in the final minute.

After White's two free throws tied the game at 69-69, a Storm Lake turnover gave ELC the final chance, but the Midgets didn't get a shot off in time.

In the extra period. Condon scored first for ELC and then White, who scored 18 of her 20 points in the second half and overtime, converted a three-point play to put ELC up 74-71.
