Six judges tasted eight burgers Thursday at Estherville Lincoln Central High School as the culinary class put on its second burger contest.

The winning burger will be featured along with classic cheeseburgers for the Midget Caf's serving on April 5.

The class of eight includes Jemmya McClain, Dari Diaz, Berenice Segura, Zach Kilgore, Evan Oleson, Blake Swanson, Jordan Roberts and Kaylee Froderman.

While all the burgers had their good points, Berenice Segura's meat-lover's burger seemed to fire on all taste buds with its combination of a burger, pulled pork, and bacon flavored with a sauce of her own creation.

Midget Caf has just eight more meals for this school year:

March 29, Homemade pizza take & bake

April 5 Cheeseburger, fries, homemade brownie

April 13 Cavatini take & bake

April 19 Taco salad and cinnamon chips (to go only)

April 27 Shrimp stir fry take & bake

May 3, Spaghetti, breadstick and angel food cake

May 11 Tater tot casserole take & bake

May 17 Chicken noodle soup, salad and fruit cup (to go only)
