ARMSTRONG - North Union gave Class A No. 3 Bishop Garrigan everything the Golden Bears could handle on Friday.

The two teams battled up and down the field in the first half with neither team able to cross the goal line.

The Warriors struck first and held a 6-0 lead to start the fourth quarter.

However, Garrigan came up with two fourth-quarter touchdowns to pull out the 12-6 victory.

Stats were unavailable on Sunday.

North Union (2-5 overall, 1-2 in district play) hosts Belmond-Klemme for the Warriors' final home game this Friday.

The Cowboys (6-1, 2-1) shut out Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire 23-0 last Friday.
