The Estherville Lincoln Central Junior Varsity Boys Basketball Team lost 39-36 to LeMars on Tuesday. Jacob Jensen led ELC with 15 points and Hogan Kriech had 13.

On Friday, ELC defeated Western Christian 42-40. Jensen led ELC with 16 points and Parker Rowley had six.

The Estherville Lincoln Central Junior Varsity Girls Basketball Team lost 35-31 to LeMars on Tuesday. Ally Irwin led ELC with 10 points, Jadynn Moore had nine, Adrienne Rosfjord had six and Abby Sander and Amara Heinrichs each had four.

On Friday, ELC defeated Western Christian 42-36. hirnichs had nine points, Moore and Maggie White each had eight, Rosfjord had seven, Gabby Paul and Irwin each had four and Sander and Laura Humble each had one.

The Estherville Lincoln Central Freshman Boys Basketball Team defeated Algona 62-58 on Thursday. Adrian Vaughn led ELC with 22 points and eight rebounds. Blake Ingvall had 19 points, Ryan Schiltz had 11 and Aaron Nissen had six. Jack Jensen had nine rebounds.

The Estherville Lincoln Central Seventh Grade Boys Basketball finished up the season with a 30-19 victory against Okoboji on Thursday. Owen Larson led the Midgets with 10 points. Cael Miller finished with nine, Eli Tim eight points, and Tate Hoyer added three points. The Midgets' A team finished their season undefeated with an 11-0 record.

The ELC B team also ended the season with a victory against Okoboji by a score of 16-15. Carter Ingvall led the Midgets with eight points and Tre' Graves chipped in four. Gavin Gesche and Chris Salinas rounded out the scoring with two points apiece. The B squad finished the season with a 3-8 record.

The C team came up short 16-7 against Okoboji. Tyler McDermott scored five points and teammate Chris Salinas added two. The C team ended the season with a record of 2-5.

ELC seventh-grade players this year are Tate Hoyer, Tyler McDermott, Tre' Graes, Trey Van Wyhe, Cael Miller, Aaron Armstrong, Gavin Gesche, Luke Heinrichs, Tanner Fisher, Owen Larson, Jordan Jensen, Bennett Stevens, Carter Ingvall, Tony Castillo, River Rasmussen, Eli Tim, Matthew Valen, Chris Kephart, Chris Salinas, Ryan Leonard and Brock Irwin.

The Estherville Lincoln Central Eighth Grade Boys Basketball Team ended the season against Okoboji on Thursday.

ELC lost the A game 23-16. Logan Nissen led ELC with five points, Nick Lyman had four, Blake Evans had three and Alexander Sheridan and Carson Grange each had two. Sheridan had 12 rebounds and four steals. Nissen, Lyman and Grange each had seven rebounds. ELC's A Team finished with a 6-4 record.

In the B Game, ELC won 25-16. Nick Kriech led the Midgets with eight points, Kyle Quastad had seven, Cade Crees had six and Hayden Cornwall and Jake Knutson each had two. Cornwall pulled down 10 rebounds while Kriech, Knutson and Crees each had six. The ELC B Team finished the season 4-6.

In the C game, Okoboji won 17-12. Jess Christensen led ELC with six points, Martyn Salinas has four and Kaleb Young had two. Braeden Lehmkuhl had 12 rebounds, Christensen had nine and Young had six.

The C Team finished the season with a 1-5 record.

ELC eighth-grade players this year are Nick Hansen, Jake Knudson, Brenden Lundgren, Nick Kriech, Kaleb Young, Blake Andrews, Martyn Salinas, Blake Evans, Kyle Quastad, Logan Nissen, Cade Crees, Alexander Sheridan, Hayden Cornwall, Kevin Licea, Griffin Gesche, Jess Christensen, Braeden Lehmkuhl, Carson Grange and Nick Lyman.
