Warriors shoot 53 percent from field

EAGLE GROVE - Chloe Lofstrom scored 26 points, grabbed 18 rebounds, had five steals and three assists while and Hope Steinberger contributed 14 points and five assists in North Union's 60-40 victory over Eagle Grove on Friday.

The Warriors shot 53 percent (32-of-60) from the field on the night with Lofstrom making 9-of-13 while Steinberger was 6-of-11.

North Union led 18-7 after one quarter, 36-23 at halftime and 47-30 after three quarters.

Lily Henderson chipped in seven points and three steals while Rory McCellan had five points and six rebounds. Maddie Rolling finished with three points and two steals and Brooklyn Prochniak had two points and six assists.

North Union (7-2 overall, 6-1 in the Top of Iowa West Conference) will host Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on Jan. 4.
