DUNNELL, Minn. - A Celebration of Life Service for Irene D. Stade, 90, of Dunnell, Minnesota, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2019 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Sherburn, Minnesota with Rev. Steven D. Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery in Fairmont, Minn.

Irene was called to her eternal rest on Monday, January 14, 2019, at her home in Dunnell, Minn. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2019, at Kramer Family Funeral Home in Sherburn and one hour prior to the services at the church.

Irene Dralle was born on November 2, 1928 to Henry and Stella (Breitbarth) Dralle on a farm near Randolph, Nebraska. She was baptized on December 9, 1928 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Osmond, Nebraska. Irene attended country school in rural Osmond. She moved with her family and settled in the Truman area and was confirmed on May 25, 1941 at St. John's Lutheran Church in South Branch. On August 31, 1947 she was united in marriage to Roy Stade of Fairmont at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Truman, Minnesota. After their marriage they lived in Fairmont until moving to a farm in Lake Fremont Township. In 1961, they moved to a farm in Lake Belt Township, Martin County where they farmed until retiring in 1978 continuing living on the farm. Roy was called to his eternal rest on March 4, 1996. In 1998, she moved into Dunnell, Minnesota.

Irene was a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Dunnell until it closed. She now is a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Sherburn where she was very active in its LWML and Friendship Club. She greatly enjoyed quilting and crocheting, playing cards, traveling and visiting.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer LeSieur of Estherville, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Cherie Stade of Tucson, Arizona; four grandchildren, Justin and Chris Stade, Megan Stade and Jeffrey LeSieur; sister, Caroline Stade of Trimont, Minnesota; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Roy Stade; two sons, Alan Stade and Randy Stade; son-in-law, Ray LeSieur and other relatives.

Irene's family prefers memorials to: St. John's Lutheran Church in Sherburn and the American Cancer Society.
