Bergie had various employers including Winnebago Industries, Morrells, Ohrtman Plastering, Mediacom, Hosty, and AgCo. He believed in an honest day's work for an honest day's pay. He was a people person, loved his friends and family. He could talk to most anyone, especially if a cold beer was in hand. In retirement he took on a new hobby of backyard squirrel and rabbit hunting.
