According to the History of Emmet County, Iowa, Vol. III, the Roosevelt Building grade school was completed in 1930. The south half of Roosevelt was being torn down this week. Meanwhile, the Estherville Lincoln Central School District is considering an offer to purchase the north half of the Roosevelt School, including the auditorium and gymnasium. A public hearing on the proposal will be held at 5:10 a.m., Monday, July 15.
